Tahiti 1 and Tahiti 2 Cabins are Studio Style and Sleep 1-2 Persons.
Rental Price Monthly: $850
Rental Price Yearly: $600
The two studio style cabins are named for the 2 voyages the French artist, Paul Gauguin made to Tahiti from his native France and from where he painted his best known works. The highlight of each cabin is one of two reproductions of the wood panels Gauguin designed and carved and on which he shares his views of life. The English translations from his native French are: “Be mysterious.” And, “Love and you will be loved.”
These essential cabins are hand-crafted of tropical hardwoods complemented by multi-hued quarry stone, sparkling white tile and earth-toned granite counter tops. Each cabin has a high, beamed ceiling with a handsome real wood fan.
Along one wall is the bath area with a contemporary multi-function full-body shower, a separate toilet compartment and a beautiful vanity area with custom wardrobe cabinet.
The opposite wall is composed of a kitchenette with large windows that capture the tranquil views and breezes. A table with 2 comfortable chairs completes this space. Each kitchenette is equipped with a sink, refrigerator, microwave, coffee pot and tableware. Complementary coffee, sugar and creamer are provided for nightly guests.
Centered in each cabin is a custom queen bed with cozy duvet for cuddling while enjoying stunning views just beyond the double French doors.
Outside, the balcony is just the right place for a refreshing drink or morning coffee or, choose your private green space with patio table as your favorite go to spot. A shared covered barbecue area is just steps away.

A mini bus from Boquete town to The Villa passes on the main road to our place “almost” every 30 minutes.
This mountain enclave in the Chiriqui highlands is surrounded by emerald green coffee plantations and tropical foliage. Enjoy panoramic views to the Pacific Ocean, cool breezes, bajaraque, rainbows, starry night skies and flocks of chattering wild parakeets as they make their way across the treetops. Yet, The Villa Gauguin is only a 15 minute scenic drive from Boquete town on a well-paved road.
Along this scenic route, Panama’s Ruta Agroturismo, you can experience local agriculture up close and visit lush plantations that produce some of the best coffee in the world, including neighboring Finca Lerida (also known for sighting the exotic Resplendent Quetzal and numerous other tropical birds.) As The Villa Gauguin sits at the highest point along the this route, immediately beyond our entry gate the road begins to wind its way down to the Caldera River. Here you will find the entrance to Volcan Baru National Park with its famous hiking venue, the Quetzal Trail. Also close by is the entrance to the Pipeline Trail for an easy stroll, as well as the more vigorous 3 Lost Waterfalls Trail. Other attractions include the San Ramon Waterfall, a goat farm and Los Ladrillos for rock climbing.
The Villa Gauguin, not just another place to stay in Boquete…a unique and exciting destination for the adventurer.
