New Direct to Denver Flights from Copa – 13th US City to Get Direct Copa Flights
United Airlines has announced that they will offer direct flights from Denver to Panama City, Panama starting in December 2014.
It seems every few months there is another announcement of direct flights from new U.S., Canada and other major international cities. This month it’s Denver. Recent announcements include Ft. Lauderdale coming in July 2014.
Currently US cities that have direct flights to Panama include:
Atlanta, Boston, Chicago, Los Angeles, Newark / New York, Houston, Dallas / Fort Worth, Orlando, Miami, Las Vegas and Washington, DC.
Canadian cities include:
Toronto and with Montreal coming in June, 2014 (seasonal charters fly regularly from Edmonton, Montreal, Quebec City, Saskatoon, Vancouver, Winnipeg)
Some notable European cities with direct flights include:
Paris, Amersterdam, Barcelona, Frankfurt, and Madrid. Lisbon is new coming in June 2014.
Expect more direct flights to be announced as Panama’s importance as a global trade center, tourism and retirement destination continues to grow.
