Construction

The house sits on twelve rebar-reinforced concrete piers with wide footings. Builders used durable local hardwoods such as nispero and angelim for the framing.
The upper floor features tongue-and-groove hardwood boards, ready to sand. The main floor is half complete, with space designed for board and tile. The roof consists of corrugated steel with a protective double paint finish. To finish the home, you need to complete the main floor, exterior siding, windows or mesh, wrap-around porch, stairs, septic system, and water catchment. A solar setup can provide energy, and piping from the spring can supply water.
Access and Infrastructure
You reach the property by trail from the Finca Buena Vida common dock. The community maintains this access path. For construction needs, an agreement also allows access through the adjacent resort waterfront lot. The property does not connect to public electricity or water, but natural springs, solar energy options, and water catchment systems provide off-grid solutions. Cell coverage and internet service are available in the area.
Location and Community
The lot sits within Finca Buena Vida, a community with shared common areas, agricultural produce, and a safe year-round presence of both residents and visitors. Next door, Blue Dolphin Paradise Resort provides a restaurant and amenities.
