Panama will have the highest economic growth rate of any Latin American country this year. In a recently released report from the United Nations’ Economic Commission, Panama’s anticipated growth rate of 6.7% will be the highest followed by Bolivia at 5.5% and Panama’s neighbor, Colombia at 5%. Panama continues to amaze the world with year after year enormous economic growth. Panama’s stability, free market orientation, US dollar economy, robust banking sector, emerging tourism stardom, mining investments and of course, the Panama Canal “cash cow” are some of the many factors that make Panama a great place to invest now.
